Résumé building tips accompanied pumpkin painting, costume contests and s’mores at the International House on Monday, Oct. 30 for Career Services’ second annual Résumania event.
Résumania is an event held by Career Services where students are invited to come and learn about résumé building skills.
“Resumania helped students learn how to better prepare a résumé for their future,” says Paige Miller, promotions assistant for Career Services. “It also helps students learn about internship and job availabilities.”
While this was only the second Resumania held at UWA, Career Services plans on holding this event annually.
Career Services provides students with help on résumés, job hunts, mock interviews, career counseling, finding internships and more.
“We are here to help students succeed,” says Miller. “We create ways to help students better prepare themselves for their future careers.”
Students in need of résumé help, mock interviews, or internship opportunities can visit Career Services in Foust Hall room 6. Students can also contact Tammy White, Director of Career Services, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
