The Campus Activities Board sponsored Tiger Idol over the past several weeks. This competition allowed UWA students to showcase their talents by using their voices in a singing competition. After each round, the student body was able to vote for the contestant who they believed possessed the talent to move on to the next round.
The final three contestants who competed for the title in the finale round during the Miss Paragon Pageant were: Yana Rodgers, Chloe Paige, and Micheala Perry. The three contestants each sang impressively to try to win over the votes of the audience in attendance. The winners were announced at the end of the pageant.
The 2014 Tiger Idol title was given to Chloe Paige a freshman at the university. Chloe sang the song “It’s The Climb” by Miley Cyrus. The audience rewarded her with a roaring applause. By winning this competition, she received an award of $500 cash prize to use in anyway that she choose.
