Livingston, Ala.– On Saturday, the Cross Country team brought home the 2014 Gulf South Conference Men’s Cross Country Championship from Veteran’s Park in Hoover. This is the first ever championship win for the Tiger Runners.
The men were separated into three teams. Team one consisted of Victor Onyaga, 25:59.85; Zach Mosley, 26:48.29; and William Kazery, 26:49.42. Team two included Hillary Langat, 27:04.67. The third team was made up of freshmen Onyaga and Langat.
The men produced a final score of 55 over the University of Alabama Huntsville and their score of 57. West Florida finished third with a total of 82 points, and Valdosta State finished fourth with 106 points.
